The Barton Annexe is a single storey self-contained property with its own access and entrance. It is situated in a quiet village location only minutes from the A303 and just off the A37.  It is an ideal holiday base from which to tour this lovely part of England. Within easy driving distance there are many places to visit including Glastonbury, Street (Clark’s Village), Wells, Bristol, Bath, Castle Cary, Longleat, Yeovilton and both  coastlines are about an hour’s drive away.

There are several National Trust properties nearby including Montacute, Lytes Carey and Stourhead and we are also close to the Somerset Levels with its RSPB reserves and Willow Centre, and Mendip Hills and much more!

The centrally heated annexe has an equipped kitchen with a two ring electric hob, fridge and microwave. There is a walk-in shower, hand basin and separate WC. The main living area has a dining table with seating for 4, colour TV/DVD, 2 easy chairs and sofa bed. The curtained off bedroom area beyond has a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and twin beds which, on request, can be locked together to make a large king size double bed. The property sleeps 2 people comfortably but there is a sofa bed providing extra accommodation. A small charge will be made for its use.

Outside there is ample off road parking for cars and bike storage etc. Adjacent to the annexe there is small private seating area with table and chairs for guests’ use. Facilities for washing and drying clothes are available.

All prices are for two persons, self catering and includes linen, towels and heating. Complimentary tea, coffee and milk on arrival.
